06/07/2024 - season-ending meeting with teenage volunteers.
We continue to grow and develop. This time, leaders were selected among young volunteers who were ready to take responsibility for the further development of the volunteer spirit in the youth team in Mariupol.
Feedback from a volunteer leader:
“Lyuba, hello!
I wanted to thank you for your trust.
Your decision was a big surprise for me, because in our large team there are many worthy people and there are those who have been with you for a long time. I joined in the fall of 2023 and haven’t regretted it one bit. I really enjoy it and it seems like something I've been missing in my life.
I am actively searching for myself, so I don’t stop looking for additional tasks and activities. I was never afraid of the workload, even if it was too much.
As I said, I manage my time wisely – I had to learn this quickly.
And if I come across tasks that I have never encountered, I boldly move forward, looking my fears straight in the eye. For me, one of the main qualities of a person is courage and perseverance.
Everything I do is not just a part, it’s a big part of me and I can’t imagine my existence without it. I would instantly become empty.
I am very grateful to you and the rest of the Senior Volunteers for your support and trust. I was surprised that, among all the unique guys, they paid attention to me. I'm very pleased.
When I was younger, I was afraid to engage in social activities. I heard condemnation, misunderstanding and even insults directed at me. This is, to some extent, thankless work and I began to think that all this was nonsense and it was better to stop before they “throwed tomatoes at me.” But still, this is my favorite thing and without it I am empty, I had to step over myself and endure a lot in order to achieve respect and attention.
The most important thing is that I remained human and to this day I accept victories and well-deserved awards with modesty and great gratitude.
It is always difficult to be a leader, both physically and mentally, but I do not refuse difficulties - I accept them!
It seems that the time has come to fully show all my inner beauty. You can always rely on me."
On this trip, we had the honor to present our program to the Acting Head of the Municipal Formation of the Mariupol Urban District - Oleg Valerievich Morgun.
We agreed on further interaction and support of the administration in the implementation of our “Good in Donbass” program in Mariupol.

From June 03 to 08, we held children's festivals in 9 schools in Mariupol and Volnovakha district:
275 master classes for children in grades 1-11;
9 schools;
3.5 tons of humanitarian cargo;
1200 children took part in the festivals, smiled, rejoiced at their successes, found new friends and senior mentors.
Gifts from our regular partners “United Confectioners” and caring friends of our project became a pleasant surprise for the children of Donbass.
During this trip, we donated methodological literature and manuals from the Sfera Publishing Center LLC to the education department of Mariupol and the Volnovakha region.
06/01/2024 - festival “Moved by Good” for student youth.
We thank the administration of the State Budgetary Educational Institution "Mariupol Construction Specialized College" (MSPC) for the warm welcome and assistance. “Our teenagers are prickly, get used to it” - these were the words the college staff greeted us with. Indeed, it was not easy to win the favor of the guys, but it still worked! By the end of the festival, we saw completely different eyes, open, trusting eyes, sincere smiles, tears of gratitude and a desire to be like us - volunteers!
The very next day we received a letter from one of the festival participants, who confirmed to us that we were doing everything right!
“Vitya, hello! Yesterday at the festival of goodness, you all filled me with smiles, kindness and positivity. I felt that I also wanted to do something nice for others. I wanted to pass on the energy that you shared with me yesterday to others.
June 1 is Children's Day. I made cards with congratulations for the guys and took a lot of different sweets. Today I walked down the street and gave gifts to children. It was the most pleasant to hear words of gratitude ☺️
I just wanted to say that the thoughts you gave us are spreading further and further... It is very valuable. That is, the scale of your actions is much greater. Thank you for coming to us, what you are doing, “volunteering”, rocking!”

February 2024 - first trip this year to Donbass.
During this trip, we visited 3 schools in Mariupol, 2 schools in the Mangushevsky district and schools in the urban-type settlements “Donskoye” and “Zlatoustovskoye” in the Volnovakha district.
The project opened with a festival for teenagers in Mariupol, Sartana, and Yalta.
We awarded our system volunteers with gifts and encouraged new participants to join the project.
A special feature of this trip was the participation of the parents of our young volunteers in master classes for children. The teenagers, together with their parents, helped elementary school children in their schools, which brought them very close.
“Donbass is my family” events were held in all schools.
In total, 1800 children took part in our events:
- played board games with meaning;
- participated in dancing, as in a therapeutic master class;
- in sports relay races we learned to work as a team;
- made handicrafts for family and friends;
- learned beauty through the creativity of great artists;
- watched and discussed short motivational films;
- got acquainted with the history and culture of our country through a quiz.
Each project participant received sweet gifts and prizes, and humanitarian aid was also delivered to each school, thanks to our partners.
One of the schools in Mariupol was evacuated due to the threat of mining. We carried out all the activities with the children outside. This is the reality in Donbass.
Young volunteers of the “Good in Donbass” project received valuable prizes
and points for your work on the Dobro.ru platform and, of course,
received psychological support from senior volunteer mentors.
Results of our trip: we delivered 2,000 kg of humanitarian aid,
visited 7 schools, 1800 children participated in our events,
at least 1000 master classes were held, 25 volunteer mentors worked with children and teenagers,
130 young volunteers from Donbass took an active part in all events.

Music group 'Zveroboi' played their songs for the kids
22 teenagers from Mariupol, active volunteers of the “Dobro in Donbass” project visited Moscow for the New Year holidays.
The trip program was very eventful. The children visited the “Temporary Accommodation Point for Refugees”, where teenagers held classes for refugees and supported them in word and deed.
In Moscow, we held classes for children from 5 to 12 years old at My Family Center “Soglasie”, and also spent several days communicating with teenagers of this center.
“By helping others, we helped ourselves,” thus realizing the skills acquired in the project.
A visit to the “Memory Road” Museum complex in Patriot Park and the “My Russia” exhibition-forum at VDNKh allowed us to learn many new and interesting facts about our country, its history, historical events, famous personalities.
Photo sessions on Red Square and in City produced a lot of positive emotions.
At the end the Zveroboy music group gave a concert and discussed with teenagers topics that are important to all of us.
The young volunteers of the project not only received positive emotions, gifts, got acquainted with the sights of the capital, but also confirmed their calling - to be those who will not stand aside, who will always respond to help!
In October 2023 our team held a festival for 200 teachers of Mariupol (a gift for Teacher’s Day). We tried to fill the participants with positive emotions, create conditions where people could relax and enjoy the celebration. And we did it! The guests left happy and inspired.
Thanks to the young volunteers, high school students of Mariupol, they supported their teachers in word, deed, and heart!

Ekaterina is a volunteer from Krasnodar.
“Mariupol is my first volunteering experience. Almost everyone who learned about the trip was worried about me and was against participating in the project. Starting with parents and ending with teachers at school (I work there). I received support only from my husband, although he was worried, but despite this he let me go and took care of our children himself.
When I returned home, I couldn’t stop talking about the trip to everyone I met.”

The eighth trip to Donbass opened with a Festival for students in grades 9-11 from different schools in Mariupol and surrounding areas. "Fest" is a great platform for young people to meet and express themselves creatively, as well as an opportunity to learn about our project and join the team as volunteers. About 200 high school students took part in the festival.
From October 9 to 13, 600 thematic master classes were held in schools in Mariupol, Sartana, Stary Krym and the village of Yalta, in which 1,800 students in grades 1-8 took part. All our events are filled with positive emotions that help children heal, recover, and bring back their childhood.
For the first time, about 50 parents of our wards joined as volunteer assistants. Moms and dads accompanied the children to the master classes and shared with their children the joy of overwhelming emotions.
2023 has been declared “the year of the teacher and mentor” in Russia. This theme inspired us to come up with a special gift for Teacher's Day - "Festival for Teachers". 200 teachers and educators participated in the festival program and received gifts for Teacher's Day. Young volunteers took an active part in the preparation and holding of this holiday, giving the teachers care, attention and a lot of positive emotions.
The most touching event of the season was the informal final meeting with the teenage volunteers. More than 150 people took part as volunteers this season. Smiles, infectious laughter, tears of farewell, words of gratitude, plans for the future - all this indicates that young people are recovering, gaining strength and are ready to help others. By helping others, they heal themselves.
Thanks to the project partners, 4 tons of humanitarian aid were transferred to schools and kindergartens in Mariupol: children's shoes, sweet sets, books, cosmetic sets, household items, toys and help for kindergartens.
The next trip to Mariupol will take place from October 5-15, 2023.
Volunteers from different cities of Russia gather into one team with one goal - we want to help.
This is not curiosity, but participation in trouble, tragedy. Step by step, house by house, family by family, restoration is underway. This process without our participation is painful and long.
If you want to help, then do not be shy and do not hold back your heart and hands from a good intention. Hurry up to do good!
Perhaps you know someone who is ready to help, but doesn’t know how, where or to whom. Give them this information.
People like to do good. Don't let this video stay on your phone - he's looking for his man.
Maybe it's you, or maybe your friend or acquaintance.
Launch the boomerang - come with us to Mariupol!

We are starting preparations for a new meeting with the children of Donbass (end of September- beginning of October).
We are preparing a program, selecting a team, looking for sponsors, have applied for the #Myplace award.
The project team is replenished with young volunteers from the cities of Donbass. And I would like to compare them with the phoenix bird: they are reborn, reborn, gain strength and hope.
For Mariupol schoolchildren, our meetings are already long-awaited (it will be the 8th trip), as they really support both children, parents, and teachers.
More than 6,000 children have already taken part in the "Dobro in Donbass" project. With each trip, the number of participants is growing, and the geography is expanding. We strive to reach children from different areas of Donbass, support them and help them.
Join our team, it all starts with a desire.
The two-day meeting between junior and senior volunteers was full of varied and interesting activities. Junior volunteers held a quest for seniors, which helped to strengthen the team spirit and develop leadership skills.
All participants played a game in the seaside park, which was a great way to spend time and have fun. After ending the day with guitar songs, the volunteers received t-shirts and gifts in appreciation of their participation.
On the second day of the meeting, junior and senior volunteers had active games on the football field, which helped to develop their physical endurance and cooperation. After the games, they went to the sea and held games and competitions on the beach there as well.
Summing up, we can say that this two-day meeting was a complete success, bringing joy and benefit to all participants.
We want to express our sincere gratitude to our partners United Confectioners LLC, who regularly support children and teenagers of Donbass with their products! Sweets for children are associated with joy, celebration, childhood and adult care.
Thank you for becoming part of our team and participating in the formation of faith in the power of goodness and the importance of supporting one's neighbor among children, and adults too.
From May 31 to June 07 we brought the 'Festival of Kindness' to 6 schools and 3 kindergartens in city of Mariupol.
At least 1800 children took part in our events.
We delivered 1500 kg of humanitarian cargo.
32 volunteers from different cities of Russia: from Chita to Krasnodar were mentors for children and teenagers.
Training was conducted for 150 local teenagers. Of these, more than 100 people became part of our team and took an active part in the festival as volunteers.
We understand the need for further assistance to Donbass and have a vision for the development of the project until at least 2025:
- apply for participation in grant competitions;
- we systematically train high school students from Mariupol schools who want to be project volunteers;
- we regularly search for financial, informational, material and other partners of the project;
- we develop social networks (website, VK community, TG channel, YouTube channel);
- we are expanding the geography of our project, developing new districts and schools of Donbass.
This is a short story about Maxim. He lives in Mariupol and joined us as volunteer while we were there. By helping others he got healed himself.
"When I grow up, I want to become a volunteer!" - say the children in Mariupol.
These words are the greatest reward for us!
Carefully adjusting the "Volunteer" badge, we understand that we are at the right time in the right place.
Volunteer Svetlana, mother of 8 children, from the city of Chita (6,800 km from Mariupol). She is already preparing for her third trip to Donbass.
What can move her thousands of miles from home?
What wish can a girl of 25 make on her birthday?
You can learn about it from the video of our volunteer Tatyana Khodyreva.
Thank you, Tatyana, that you care!
Our team received an unusual letter from an ordinary pensioner, Sergei Volkov.
He wrote a book with lullabies, fairy tales and poems for the little kids. He asked us to give the book to the children of Donbass as his support for them.
Good emotions are what we try to bring to children, and this book gives such emotions, so it will definitely go to Donbass to children!
During our 4th trip to Mariupol in February 2023 we organized a festival for teenagers from different schools.
How it was and what the teenagers said about it is in our video.
You are also welcome to watch it on Youtube.
Thank you letters from schools: №60, №34, №41, №14 and kinder-garden №21 "Rainbow" in Mariupol (Donbass area).
February 02-11, 2023 we visited city of Mariupol in Donbass area for the 4th time. We're preparing video report about our trip, that will be published a little bit later.
The head of "Dobro in Donbass" project, Lyubov Zueva, shared her memories of her 1st trip to Donbass, plans and needs for the 4th trip.
“When I first arrived in the ruined Mariupol, I was shocked.
My brain thought it was a movie. It wasn't until later that it dawned on me that this wasn't a set for a movie - it was a real-life nightmare in which people are trying to survive.
The only "bright spot" on the first trip was the kids we met there right on the street. We spontaneously organized a sports ground, quickly clearing the yard of debris. We started playing ball with them, tried a few races. Everything was so simple, not super-organized - but it turned out very nice and heartwarm.
The memory of this spontaneous sporting holiday remained in me as something filled with light. I realized then that people in this nightmare, no matter what, need joy. Joy gives hope. We saw joyful parents, who were watching their kids smiling and laughing. Their kids are the most precious thing they have. The rest will somehow improve.
Our team specifically works with children in the Donbass area. I am often asked: “Why children? There are so many everyday problems that adults are facing over there?!". My answer to that -
Children are the shortest way to the hearts of adults. If children dream, if there is fire in their eyes, if they have the energy of life in them, then adults want to live on. Adult people want to live and move on, they want to strive and achieve something. Adults have a meaning in life, someone to live for. Children are the future of adults in such difficult circumstances.
We are going to Donbass for the 4th time to visit children. We bring them childhood. We bring them joy. And they will bring this joy in their homes to their parents, to their loved ones. This joy will heal not only children, but entire families and neighborhoods.
The preliminary plan of our 4th trip.
1. This time we will visit 5 schools - this is approximately 1,500 children in grades 1-5.
2. We will organize a festival for about 100 teenagers. We would also like teenagers to be involved in working with younger children.
3. We also want to visit 2 kindergartens - that's about 150 kids."
WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP IN BUYING NECESSARY GOODS FOR CHILDREN! PLEASE CONTACT US FOR DETAILS.
Dear volonteers, partners and our small and already not so small children!
We're so greatful to you, and we're greatful for you in our lives!
We hope we were able to sow some seeds of kindness during this very difficult 2022.
We wish you health, peace, love in this coming 2023!
We organized another master-class on December 17, 2022 as a part of our project «Real Life» of our charitable foundation «Elizaveta».
Teenagers from orphanages in Moscow together with volunteers made hats and snoods for children in Mariupol and Severodonetsk.
At the beginning of February 2023, we are planning another trip to Donbass, not only to those schools that we have already attended, but also received an invitation from other educational institutions.
Our team has already developed a development strategy for the DND project for 2023. The plans are large-scale, complex, but we believe that we will achieve all our goals.
We invite everyone who shares our vision and problem solving to help children and teenagers in Donbass to cooperate and participate in the project.
One of our wards (pictured) made 3 snoods. We suggested that she keep the one she liked best. "No," she answered, "the children need it there more, tell them that we are with them!"
We've put together a short video about our 3rd trip to Mariupol. Please watch it.
From local schools №50, №7, №64, №38 and local authorities of Mariupol city.
November 06-16, 2022 was our project 'Dobro in Donbass' 3rd trip to Mariupol.
Our goal was to help children who lived through military fighting.
They are not along - we were there to help them!
24 volonteers, 7 schools, 7 days. We tried to embrace them with all of our hearts!
2000 kids, 5 activitiy areas: hand crafts, sport games, puzzles, flash mobs, hot meals.
And of course presents! Every child recieved attention, thanks to our financial partners and partners who provided humanitarian aid.
Additionally we passed school supplies, winter clothe and post-cards from kids in orphanage in Moscow.
We say 'Thank you' to the administration of Mariupol city for local support and assistance.
Children must have a happy childhood, and we as adults, must do everything to make it happened!
"The Administration of the Primorsky district of the city of Mariupol expresses its gratitude for assistance in the implementation of charitable programs to Charitable Foundation "Elizaveta", represented by its Director Zueva Lyubov and coordinator of the project "Dobro in Donbass" Terekhov Denis. We thank them for assistance in conducting
socially significant events for residents of the city of Mariupol.
In the period of August 25-28, 2022, you organized and held 5 festivals, master classes and 5
sports olympiads. More than 400 families with minor kids received humanitarian aid.
We especially thank for the emotional support of our children and teenagers who survived the horrors
hostilities and humanitarian catastrophe.

It was a very difficult trip, but it was an honor to help a little bit at that time.
From 05 to 08 of July 2022 we were in the city of Mariupol. It was one of the most emotionally difficult trips. Ruined city. People who have gone through inhuman events.
We managed to deliver humanitarian aid to people: food, essential goods, medicines.
We also organized a children's party right in one of the courtyards of the ruined city.
Each child, in addition to positive emotions from team relay races, received a useful and tasty gift at the end of the holiday.
Our team is preparing for the first trip to the city of Mariupol.
The trip is scheduled for early July 2022
